Approximately seven miles from Goathland, Whitby is a historic fishing town on the North Yorkshire Coast.  With a maze of streets and alleyways and is home to the ruins of St Hilda’s Abbey.  Climb the 199 steps to St Mary’s Church which was the inspiration behind Bram Stokers Dracula.  A replica of  Captain James Cook’s ‘Bark Endeavour’ is often found in Whitby which sailed from the Harbour.
